A visit to Longleat with the family. Longleat is an English country house, currently the seat of the Marquesses of Bath. It is noted for its Elizabethan country house, maze, landscaped parkland and safari park.

Ah Venice...

A few days to take in the sights of Venice and Murano with Wendy: Canels, Gondoliers, Gelato, sinking old buildings, glass foundaries and lots and lots and lots of fish.... oh and Wendy gets trapped in a prison.

The National Three Peaks Challenge is a mountain endurance challenge in which I climbed the highest peaks of each of Great Britain's three countries with Richard and Caroline... all in 24 hours. We climbed Ben Nevis in Scotland (1,344m), Scafell Pike (978m) in England, and Snowdon in Wales (1,085m). In all the challenge involved some 42km of ascent and descent, with total travel approaching 765km... all completed in 23 hours, and 48 minutes. Phew!
